Installation Instructions (READ CAREFULLY)
mBot requires specific Windows dependencies to run. If you skip these, it will not open.- Install Requirements: You MUST have .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0 installed.
- Disable Antivirus: The "mBotLoader.exe" injects code to bypass the license. Windows Defender will block this. Add the folder to exclusions before extracting.
- Run the Loader: Do not open mBot.exe directly. You must right-click mBotLoader.exe (or VSRO-Patcher.exe) and Run as Administrator.
- Wait for "Ready": The loader will say "Successfully Logged In" or "Ready." Then the bot window will appear.
- Set Path: Go to the "Settings" tab in the bot, locate your Silkroad folder, and click "Save Settings."
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: I get "Unknown Error" or the bot stuck on "Not Logged In".A: This happens if you open mBot.exe directly without the loader, or if your firewall is blocking the local connection.
- Fix: Always use mBotLoader.exe.
- Fix 2: Ensure no other program is blocking Port 80 (like Skype or TeamViewer).
A: This is 99% a DEP (Data Execution Prevention) issue.
- Open System Properties > Advanced > Performance > DEP.
- Select "Turn on DEP for all programs except..."
- Add mBotLoader.exe AND mBot.exe to the list.
- Restart PC.
A: Yes. If the interface looks "broken" or tiny, right-click the .exe > Properties > Compatibility > "Change high DPI settings" > Check "Override high DPI scaling behavior" (Set to System).
Q: "Missing MSVCP100.dll" or similar error?
A: You are missing the Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 (x86). Download and install it from Microsoft. Even if you have a 64-bit PC, mBot is a 32-bit app, so you need the x86 version.
Q: Is mBot better than sBot?
A: It depends. mBot is generally preferred for Multi-Clienting (Gold Bots) because it is very light on system resources. It is also easier to set up for beginners. sBot is better for complex scripting and fast picking on high-rate servers.
